ABOUT ME

        I started knitting when my daughter was about 6 months old. I was taught to knit by a co-worker when I was  working as a medical assistant and I just took off with it. I was knitting her beanies, sweaters, scarves. MInd you I knitted squares and sewed them together as I couldn't master the more difficult patterns. I just didn't have the patience. It worked though. Soon I was knitting scarves for Christmas gifts and birthday gifts and kept recieving compliments and requests for  handmade scarves.  

 

        10 years later, I am still knitting. A good friend of mine asked me if I knew how to make "frilly scarves". Of course I knew what she was talking about but again, because I thought it would be too hard to learn, I said no. She proceeds to show me a  video on how to make these scarves. Within minutes I learned to make these scarves and to my surprise, they were the easiest things in the world to make!

 

        So here I am making handmade fashion scarves. I love to knit these scarves. I love the smile it puts on someone's face. It makes me feel good to know that I can do that for people. Not only that but it makes a great gift for any female in your life!
